@Susan: My long lens has a macro setting on it that allows me to zoom in closer than I normally would be able to. I opt for that instead of my regular macro lens, to avoid getting water all over my camera! Then there's light, a tripod, a steady drip of water and a lot of patience! :)

The water texture and blue color is really fantastic as is the shape of the drop, could have been a bit sharper on the drop but I know from experience it's really difficult to make photo's like this ;)
