New York (4/4)

I don't really have anything in particular to say about this image. I just like it. Hope you enjoyed the NY photos. It was something different anyway.

Incidentally... my brother (that I was in NY with) is getting married this weekend!! And it was on this weekend trip that I first met his future wife, although at that time no one had any idea they'd be getting married one day! :)

New York looks like a fantastic place for urban shots - and you have another great one here. The diagonal perspective gives depth and feeling of movement through the frame. Well done. Perfect for B&W.

Nicely done Jen! The B&W treatment captures the atmosphere perfectly! Congratulations to the newlyweds (soon to be) !! Hopefully we will see some photos of the occasion...... ;-)

It was a great series. b&w definately was the way to go for these shots. I'm not much of an urbanite, but appreciated the shots shown here.

@Lee: Thanks Lee! I have loads of color shots from the trip, but I tend to like the B&W's better. It just goes well with that urban feeling, I guess! :)

@marc battault: Thanks! Sometimes, walking down those streets, you almost feel like you're in a canyon, with giant walls of buildings on either side of you. But it was difficult to capture that. This photo at least does some justice to the height and depth that is so common! :)
