Warmth

This is one of those photos that I know others may not like, but... it's my blog, right? I like it! For me, this photo is about the bright warm sun and soft summer weeds catching the light. (For those of you that might ask... Sorry I don't know what it is.)

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I have a limited amount of time on Am3, so I don't generally respond to comments (unless they're questions). I do, however, read them all, and appreciate every one. Thanks again for taking the time to check out my work!

I like your philosophy Jen, I've had shots myself that have gone against the said "Rules", yep rules are useful now and again but hey don't let them spoil your perception, creativity and more important your individuality .

When I maybe suggest an improvement or point out a fault in a pic I always add that it is "only MY opinion" which counts for nothing LOL .

I like it too ;-))

@Wayne Molyneux: Thanks Wayne! It makes me think of Pirates of the Caribbean when they keep talking about the pirates code. "They're more like guidelines anyway!!" :) Rules are made to be broken, right??

It's my kind of photo too Jen :) !! Love the softness and warm light... Wayne said it best!! There is another photo site I look at regularly which holds a monthly contest. Most times the winners are the ones who break the rules. Even though the suggestions written to help you win encourage you to follow basic photography rules!!??? :0)

@Mary: Thanks Mary! I've always thought that the better we understand the "rules" the better we know how and when to break them. And beyond that, you just gotta have fun and shoot what speaks to you! :)
