Happy Little Flower (1/3)

This flower was a new one for me... It was in a bundle I got at the store. Sorry I don't know the name of it. (Thus the lame title!) If someone out there does, feel free to enlighten me! They were unusual in that they were very dry and sort of crunchy, despite being in the water with everything else. I really liked their shape and texture. Lots of fun to play with! :)

Update: Thanks to Tracy, I can now tell you that this is a Straw Flower. After reading about it online I learned that the paper-like petals are actually not petals at all, but are modified leaves. Pretty cool. :)
