Hiding in Plain Sight

I absolutely LOVE frogs!! Can't get enough of 'em! My sister in law spotted this guy while we were out shooting one day and it just made me giddy! :)

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I have a limited amount of time on Am3, so I don't generally respond to comments (unless they're questions). I do, however, read them all, and appreciate every one. Thanks again for taking the time to check out my work!

Excellent! I love frogs, too. This one is so nicely camouflaged I almost missed him! Amazing how his color is just the same as his surroundings. ( I guess I would want that too, if I were a frog!)

@Tracy: Yeah, aren't frogs are pretty much the best ever??!! I liked the coloring too. They seemed to blend in so well - with the lily pads, with the weeds at the edge of the water, every where we saw them. :)

It's funny how sometimes the simplest things can have such incredible visual interest - this is one of those images for me - perfect composition and my eye keeps running back to that little frog sitting there! Awesome work Jen! Have a great Father's Day!

@Scott Schilling: Thanks Scott! I know what you mean... Sometimes I am surprised by the photos that capture my attention, and keep it there. It's not always what we would expect. :)
