The Idaho I Love

Posted by Jen (St. George, United States) on 24 June 2009 in Landscape & Rural.

I think Idaho gets a bad rap sometimes, but I really love it. I love the wide open spaces. I love the sight of endless fields, and the timeless farmhouses set in the middle of them. I love the water from the sprinklers reflecting the light of the setting sun. I love the cows. (Really!) I love the mountains that always seem to be in the distance. I love how the sky just seems to go on forever. I love the way the crops in the fields dance and sway in the wind.

I could go on... but I think you get the idea. :)

Just in case anyone's curious - this shot was taken outside of a little town called Terreton, which is near Mud Lake. Mud Lake is much more beautiful than it sounds, although I wouldn't recommend going swimming in it! (You can see a sliver of it in this shot.)

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I have a limited amount of time on Am3, so I don't generally respond to comments (unless they're questions). I do, however, read them all, and appreciate every one. Thanks again for taking the time to check out my work!
