Spray Rose

The little mini-bundle of spray roses I got were mostly closed at the store. But by the time I got around to shooting them a few hours later they were all wide open. I guess it's a little warm here! I had hoped to shoot them closed first, but at least they looked nice open too. :)

Scott is right...the focus is perfect. All that close-up macro detail and it's ALL focused. How in the world did you do that!??

@Dulcie: Thanks Dulcie. I actually struggled with DOF on this shot. I kept setting the aperture then checking with the dof preview... Just trying to find the best balance. :)

Gorgeous shot here Jen.....looks so soft and wonderful in the b&w...and focus is spot on....my flower shopping last nite was almost a bust....I shot some this morning, but not sure........My brother told me last night that Whole Foods has GORGEOUS flowers......i might go look, but i'll bet they won't be cheap!!! Too bad i can't find any nice ones outside, growing wild!!

That is a frame worthy photo! I like that the depth of field is so deep with everything being in focus and the black and white just makes it that much more beautiful!
