Fireworks (1/2)

I couldn't resist posting at least a couple shots of the fireworks from the 4th of July.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I have a limited amount of time on Am3, so I don't generally respond to comments (unless they're questions). I do, however, read them all, and appreciate every one. Thanks again for taking the time to check out my work!

@Ian Smith: Thanks! As I watched the fireworks shooting up I kept repositioning my camera, trying to the best composition. I was really pleased with this one turning out exactly the way I had imagined, which is rarely how it works with fireworks!! :)

This is a Great fireworks shot! The shutter speed is great because I can follow the whole event! Nice work Jen! We are traveling through Saint George tonight and I am trying to get used to the heat! I am hoping for some thunderstorms this week - stay cool!

@Scott Schilling: Thanks Scott! If you're staying in the area, don't hold your breath for those storms! It's just supposed to be HOT all weekend. If you're going elsewhere maybe there's hope! We're actually headed up north for the weekend and will fully enjoy the cooler temperatures! :)
