Craters of the MoonPosted by Jen (St. George, United States) on 12 August 2009 in Landscape & Rural. Our stop at Craters of the Moon in Idaho last year was on a whim, but I'm so glad we went. It's such an incredible area... unlike anything you've ever seen! It was really hot - all the black soaking up the sun - but totally worth it! The scenery is just incredible, as is all of the information about how it was all formed. This shot is from the top of Inferno Cone, but I don't know what the peak/volcano in the distance is. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I have a limited amount of time on Am3, so I don't generally respond to comments (unless they're questions). I do, however, read them all, and appreciate every one. Thanks again for taking the time to check out my work! © 2004-2009 Jennifer Colby Photography
